Kathleen Cochran

I write under the penname Kathleen Cochran.  As a novelist, poet, and former newspaper reporter and editor, I write from my experiences traveling the world and raising a family as a soldier's better half.  I've called Germany and Saudi Arabia home and traveled to five continents.

I believe the best way to become a better writer is to listen to what your readers have to say.  Feedback is encouraged and appreciated.

I'll be speaking in Savannah, Georgia, in September 2012.  Details to come.

TAKE THIS MAN, and A Working Title Memory, plus a collection of poetry, These Lines, are available on Kindle and at amazon.com. (Note: The purple cover of TAKE THIS MAN is now out of print and is an abridged version. Select the white cover ebook version please for the complete story.)

TAKE THIS MAN and Collected Works is now available in hardback at Lulu.com.

My current work in progress is MY WAR, a non-fiction account of living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 1990 to 1994.  Chapters are posted on Hub Pages.

I had the opportunity to be one of four writers invited to an Author's Forum at the University of Georgia.  TAKE THIS MAN is now in the College of Journalism Reading Room along with the works of other GEORGIA graduates.

One of the 100 Best New Hubbers of 2011 - Thanks to all my fellow hubbers.

"Got Friends?" was nominated as a HubNugget in my early days on Hub Pages.  Great way to say "Welcome" to a new member!
